  • Scope: Automate the scheduling and pruning of your persistent application data, excluding the database.
  • Key Tasks:
    • Create a Recurring Job in Longhorn (e.g., daily snapshots, weekly backups).
    • Assign the job to your application volumes (Nextcloud, Gitea, etc.).
    • Explicit Exclusion: Ensure the volume attached to your database application does not have this recurring backup job applied to it.
